RealtyBid.com Marketing Director Daphne Shannon joined the RealtyBid.com team in 2006 with the goal of enlightening and educating the general public and specific target markets about the innovations and benefits of RealtyBid.com through media exposure and directed communication. Shannon has spent her 15-year career in the field of communication in the sectors of public relations, marketing and publishing, including a five-year stint as director of public relations and advertising for a 400-bed, award-winning, community-owned hospital. She spent the almost eight years prior to joining RealtyBid.com exploring the inner workings of the resort real estate industry as managing editor of Condo Owner magazine and as manager of public affairs for Covey Communications Corp., the publishing entity responsible for Condo Owner. Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in public relations and advertising from the University of Alabama. |
