Dr. Daniela Ouzounova was born in a small town on the Danube River in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. She completed Medical School in 1988 at the Medical Academy of Sofia, Bulgaria, and completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 1993. The same year, Dr. Ouzounova and her family immigrated to the United States following the political turmoil in the former Soviet Bloc. In 1999 she completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of North Dakota in Fargo.
Dr. Ouzounova joined the Alexandria Clinic, P.A. in July 1999, and is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. She has a special interest in Women's Health, Preventative Medicine and Cardiology.
Dr. Ouzounova and her husband Zack, have two daughters. She enjoys swimming, music and hiking. |
