Daniel Zenkel has served as President of CampGroup since its formation in April 1998. Before then, Dan practiced law and was also active in real estate development and management. Dan sits on the Board of the New York Section of the American Camp Association and on the Board of S.C.O.P.E., a leading camp charity that provides camp scholarships to underprivileged children. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the America's Camp Foundation. He is a past Chairman of the Resident Camp Programming Committee for the Tri-State Camp Conference, the largest camp conference in the world. He holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Columbia Law School, where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Columbia Law Review. He attended Camp Takajo in Naples, Maine and worked as a camp counselor for 3 summers. |
