Daniel is an accomplished banker with three decades of experience. Daniel recently retired from U.S. Bank as its Vice Chairman after helping it grow to the nation’s six largest bank over his tenure with that bank. At U.S. Bank, he was Vice Chairman and head of the Consumer Banking as well as Vice Chairman of the Commercial Banking Group. Daniel was also President and CEO of Colorado National Bank, where he grew the bank from $2 billion to $9 billion. Daniel began his career in California with the Security Pacific Bank, starting as a teller in 1977 and growing to become Senior Vice President and Divisional Administrator responsible for Southern California and finally Executive Vice President, Head of Consumer Banking Pacific Northwest. He has been on the board of companies such as MediaOne and organizations such as the Smithsonian Institute and the National Jewish Hospital and Research Center. |
