Daniel Yergin is chairman of Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), a leading international advisory and consulting firm which focuses on the energy industries. Dr. Yergin is a highly respected authority on international politics and economics and on energy. He is a Pulitzer Prize winner and recipient of the United States Energy Award for "lifelong achievements in energy and the promotion of international understanding."Dr. Yergin's latest book, The Commanding Heights: The Battle for the World Economy, with CERA President Joseph Stanislaw, has received wide attention for its analysis and narrative.
