Dan Streek is Cellnet's Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Dan is responsible for the company's corporate finance and strategy functions. Prior to joining Cellnet, Dan had over 20 years of global financial business and management experience overseeing multi-billion dollar budgets and financial operations for Fortune 500 organizations. He served as vice president and controller at Mirant Corporation where he managed the company's worldwide accounting activities, oversaw SEC and external reporting and conducted the company's financial analysis. He rebuilt the accounting department to obtain reliable financial data to allow management to fully evaluate business performance and restructure the company's financial affairs. Prior to Mirant, Dan was Chief Financial Officer at Aquila, where he oversaw all finance activities including common stock issuance, bond offerings and contract negotiations. While there, he led the company's public offering of Merchant Services, a "spin off" energy merchant company and a division of Mirant that represented 65% of the company's overall consolidated net income. Dan began his career as an audit manager with Arthur Andersen, LLP. Dan is a member of several industry associations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants and the Financial Executives International. Dan received a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Nevada and a M.B.A from Rockhurst College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant and Certified Financial Manager in the State of Nevada. |
