Daniel Pon loves to work hard but have fun doing it, and he likes nothing better than helping his company's people be everything they can. Pon was named Vice President-Human Resources for US Airways on Sept. 6, 2007. He brought with him over 23 years of human resources experience in manufacturing, information technology and air cargo. Most recently, Dan was vice president of global compensation and benefits for Sanmina-SCI in California.
Prior to Sanmina-SCI Dan held a variety of Human Resource leadership positions such as Vice President of Human Resources for ASTAR Air Cargo, Inc (formerly DHL Airways, Inc.), Vice President of Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and HRIS for E*Trade, Director of Human Resources for Providian Financial Corp. and Director of Human Resources for Lewis Galoob Toys, Inc.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science as well as his Masters of Arts in Public Administration from California State University-Hayward. |
