Daniel Mendelow is a Managing Director in the firm’s corporate advisory business.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Mendelow was Vice President of Corporate Development at FirstMark Communications Europe, a European CLEC with operations in France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland, that constructed a pan-European fiber optic backbone and wireless local loop and DSL access networks. Prior to joining FirstMark, Mr. Mendelow was an analyst at BT Wolfensohn (Deutsche Bank).
While at Evercore, Mr. Mendelow has focused on telecom and technology clients. Recent deals on which he has participated include AT&T's acquisition of BellSouth, SBC's acquisition of AT&T, Cingular's acquisition of AT&T Wireless, Commonwealth Telephone's sale to Citizens, Time Warner Telecom's acquisition of Xspedius and EDS' sale of UGS PLM Solutions.
