Daniel Johnson is a Managing Director at Fiderion and has 10 years of experience in executive search. Prior to joining the firm, he was with Jamesbeck Global Partners in New York, a boutique retained executive search firm for the traditional and alternative investment management community. He was formerly an associate specializing in financial services at TMP Worldwide Executive Search, which he joined via the firm's acquisition of Johnson Smith & Knisley in 1998.

Dan began his career with Citicorp Venture Capital in New York where he spent two years and completed the corporate lending and analyst training program at Citigroup. Subsequently, he left Citicorp to found a service company dedicated to consumer products before joining the executive search industry.

Dan received a B.A. in Political Science from California State University and a M.S. in Politics, Economics and Philosophy from Oxford University. In addition to teaching, he also has served on boards in both the higher education and non-profit sectors.
