Dan Cleveland brings more than 10 years of industry experience to his position as senior vice president, business development, and strategic relationships at Element K. Since joining the company in 1992 he has played a key role in the ongoing success of the company's Internet strategy, having led the efforts in developing its first online learning site, LearnItOnline. In his current role, Cleveland is responsible for developing and delivering on the company's strategy for expanding sales of online solutions through strategic relationships and indirect channel partners, including industry leaders such as Barnes & Noble, Adobe, Corel Macromedia, Best Buy, Gateway, CompUSA, ExecuTrain, New Horizons and Productivity Point International. Cleveland has held a number of sales, marketing and management positions at Element K and its predecessor, ZD Education. Prior to joining the Company, Cleveland was an account manager with Aetna Capital Management, responsible for the ongoing relationships with pension investment clients in the Fortune 200 segment of the market. Prior to that, he was an actuarial analyst with the national employee benefit-consulting firm A. Foster Higgins & Co. Cleveland earned a BS in Mathematics and Physics at Drake University. |
