Daniel Chai is an associate director in the business development group in LECG's Cambridge office. He specializes in the application of modern financial and institutional economics to complex business issues and proceedings. Mr. Chai advises clients and their counsel on matters across several industries including financial services, telecommunications, and technology. Some of these matters include asset valuation, economic analysis of contracts, and the role of incentives and industry custom and practice in the corporate strategic decision-making process. He has provided trial and affidavit testimony in the state courts of New Hampshire. Mr. Chai also has experience in managing multi-expert litigation consulting engagements utilizing a network of outside academic contacts and industry practitioners in the recruitment of expert witnesses. Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Chai spent eight years in the securities industry where he focused on global strategic planning issues for a major brokerage house/investment bank in New York where he was an associate vice president in the private client group. Mr. Chai earned an AB in economics from Cornell University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Rochester, where he is currently an executive committee board member on the Alumni Advisory Council. |
