Dan brings to bear over 15 years of experience in a diverse range of industries and roles, including: an entrepreneur in both healthcare and technology startups; a mergers & acquisitions generalist investment banker at Merrill Lynch and cross-border M&A boutique Fredericks Michael & Co.; a senior health care and hospital administrator at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York; a life sciences venture capitalist at CrossBow Ventures; and a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Most recently, Dan was the President and COO of one of the nations largest providers of integrative healthcare services, featured in the White House Commission for Complementary & Alternative Medicine. He led the Company’s growth from one location to four in less than two years; spearheaded Company’s successful seed, angel round and Series A fundraising campaigns; discussed improvements to healthcare systems of Dubai and Bahrain, on invitation by the Ambassador of Bahrain to the United States; and was a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School. Dan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from Haverford College, where he conducted graduate-level research in post-transcriptional gene regulation. Mr. Braz is also a founder of The Twelfth Man, a non-profit booster organization aimed at supporting the Haverford College Men’s Soccer Program, one of the oldest in the nation. |
