Dan Williams founded Leadership Communications Inc. in 1993. With over 23 years of consulting experience, Dan has worked with global leaders in a variety of industries to build two core competencies: clarifying the complex and creating effective leadership communication strategies that cross cultures. Most recently, he has led Leadership Communications’ effort to help global companies develop and retain multicultural leaders, especially those of Asian descent.
Throughout his career, Dan has passionately pursued an interest in social and technological change. With this knowledge, he has helped business leaders become recognized in their industry. He has ghost written numerous speeches and developed articles for senior managers published in such prestigious publications as the Harvard Business Review and the Boston Globe.

Dan has published in leading publications such as Pharmaceutical Executive, the Boston Globe, International Management, Executive Excellence, and Think Tank, a Mandarin journal based in Beijing targeting Chinese CEOs and entrepreneurs. He has consulted to a variety of international corporations including Millennium Pharmaceuticals, SAP, Fidelity Investments, Fannie Mae, EMC Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Sun Life of Canada. He has been an active supporter of the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Association.
At the personal level, Dan has been a student of social change in China since the early 1970's. In 1998, his connection to China became far more personal when he and his wife adopted their daughter, Ying Chun, from Wuhan, China.
A graduate of Boston University, he has authored or co-authored several major leadership studies. Dan has taken graduate courses at M.I.T Sloan School of Management and has studied Mandarin for two years at Harvard University’s Extension School. He lives in Wellfleet, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. |
