Daniel (Dan) P. Kelly, 46, is executive vice president of product development at Tellabs. In this role, Kelly has global responsibility for Tellabs’ products, including research and development, product line management and product-specific marketing. Previously, Kelly was executive vice president of transport products. He also served as executive vice president of core products at Tellabs. Kelly joined Tellabs in 1985 and has held a series of increasingly responsible positions in product engineering and research and development. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.
