Dan Adams has more than 19 years of experience providing detailed design and design coordination on tunnels and underground structures. His career has involved him in heavy civil underground projects from San Francisco to Boston, Providence to Portland. In keeping with Jacobs Associates’ long established ties to Australia, Mr. Adams spent several years as tunnel design and construction specialist on sections of several of the country’s largest infrastructure projects: the M-5 East Motorway Driven Tunnels in Sydney and Melbourne’s City Link-Burnley and Domain Tunnels.
Currently, Mr. Adams heads our new Seattle office that serves Pacific Northwest clients with construction design, construction management, and construction claims engineering and consulting. In addition, he will lead the firm’s responsibilities as tunnel designers for King County’s Brightwater Conveyance Facility, serving the increasing wastewater treatment needs of metropolitan Seattle.
Mr. Adams has authored numerous professional papers concerning tunnel design and construction. He earned both a BS and MS in civil engineering degrees from the University of Massachusetts, and he is a Registered Professional Engineer in Washington, California, Idaho, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Oregon, and Utah and Australia. |
