Dan Rogge has more than 15 years of active campaign experience with national, regional, and local non-profit organizations. A seasoned fundraising leader, Dan has excelled in the successful organization and direction of capital campaigns for a wide variety of clients in the areas of education, healthcare, and community service. As Vice President, Professional Services, Dan leads and supports consultants in the field to generate the best possible outcomes for our clients. In addition to overseeing all consultant projects, Dan remains actively engaged in key strategy and planning sessions to help clients achieve and meet their fundraising objectives and goals.
Dan earned a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration with a specialization in Institutional Advancement from Vanderbilt University and Bachelor’s degrees in History and Psychology from Mercer University. He has complemented academic training with professional experience to create an expanding array of theory and practical knowledge.
Prior to consulting, Dan was actively engaged in major higher education campaigns. As Director of Development, Major Gifts for Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he was an integral member of a dynamic team that surpassed a $500 million goal raising over $1 billion total. At Sewanee, The University of the South, Dan helped to advance the $91.5 million Campaign for Sewanee (ultimately raising over $115 million) with over a hundred personal gift requests while overseeing direct mail and phonothon programs.
Dan has been a presenter on fundraising topics for Vanderbilt University, Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Council on Resource Development (CRD), and South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations (SCANPO). He speaks regularly on the topic of transformational leadership in campaigns, creating a culture of philanthropy, major gift fundraising, and board development. He has also authored numerous articles on the subject of fundraising and Board development. |
