Daniel L. Govero was named to the Board of Directors of Eagle Bank and Trust Company in 1999.
Mr. Govero is a resident of South County and the owner of Govero Land Services, Inc., in Imperial, Missouri offering surveying and engineering services to the Jefferson County area, as well as all of Missouri.
Born in Festus, Missouri, Mr. Govero graduated from Festus High School in 1962, then the David Ranken School for Mechanical Trades, and has served in the United States Armed Forces.
Mr. Govero is past president of the St. Louis Chapter, Missouri Association of Registered Land Surveyors (M.A.R.L.S.); State of Missouri Association of Registered Land Surveyors; Arnold Chamber of Commerce; past Board member of Home Builder's Association (H.B.A); and is currently chairman of the Board of the Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation and chairman of the Education Committee for M.A.R.L.S. Mr. Govero has received numerous honors from the H.B.A., including Associate of the Year, President's Award, and Bravo Award, and in 1997, he was awarded the Homer Award for Outstanding Residential Site Plan (Bayberry Farm Plat 4) by the H.B.A. Missouri Association of Registered Land Surveyors (M.A.R.L.S.) honored him in 1991 as Surveyor of the Year and he was given the Robert E. Meyers Service Award in 1994. In 1998, he was presented the Special Recognition Award for Education by the St. Louis Chapter Missouri Association of Registered Land Surveyors. He has received recognition from the Afton Athletic Association, Jefferson County Association and the Antonia Khorey League for his charitable contributions. |
