Dan has been an attorney with Pierce Atwood since 1988 focusing on personal injury and civil litigation. His practice includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of actions ranging from automobile, commercial, and premises liability to products liability and FELA cases. Dan has also represented insurance carriers in direct claims involving uninsured motorists, life and disability, and other contract/coverage issues. His experience includes all aspects of litigation, including trial, alternative dispute resolution, and appellate work. Education Dan graduated from the University of Southern Maine (B.A., Cum Laude, 1985) and from the University of Maine School of Law (J.D., 1988), where he was the executive editor of the Maine Law Review. Professional Activities. Dan is a past president of the Kennebec County Bar Association. He is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
