Mr. Schairbaum joined the firm in 2003 and is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schairbaum was a real estate attorney with a boutique law firm in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Schairbaum advises clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, zoning, land use and management. Mr. Schairbaum also represents general contractors and owners in design and construction law matters.

The negotiation of a variety of design and construction contracts in connection with the expansion of two manufacturing facilities in Mexico, the renovation and construction of public school facilities in Michigan, and the construction of a multi-million dollar residential high-rise in Michigan.
The relocation of a manufacturing facility from Michigan to Mexico, including negotiation of a complex deconstruct, transport and reconstruct contract.
The leasing, acquisition and development of "big box" retail sites throughout the United States for one of the world's leading family entertainment providers.
The negotiation of leases for office buildings, retail shopping centers and ambulatory surgery centers throughout the United States.
