Daniel J. McMahon, CPA is a Principal in CCR's Assurance and Advisory Services Department. Dan is a graduate of DePaul University's College of Commerce where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Mr. McMahon has approximately 15 years of experience working with both publicly-traded and privately-held companies. His primary responsibilities include directing teams who perform financial statement audits, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 implementations, outsourced internal audit projects, and other accounting and assurance related projects. Mr. McMahon's industry experience is notable in the real estate, manufacturing/distribution and service-related industries. Mr. McMahon is a certified public accountant in the State of Connecticut and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Dan is currently the workplace coordinator for the Greater Hartford Arts Council United Arts Campaign and is a member of the Marlborough, Connecticut Board of Finance. Prior to joining CCR in 2006, Mr. McMahon resided in Chicago where he served as a member of the Accounting Principles Committee for the Illinois CPA Society and as the Treasurer for the DePaul University Young Alumni Association. |
