Daniel J. "Dan" Heinrich was appointed chief financial officer in 2003. Heinrich is the senior executive responsible for Clorox's financial activities, including Finance and Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Investor Relations. In addition, he oversees the company's Corporate Administrative Services and Corporate Real Estate functions.
Prior to being named CFO, Heinrich served for two and a half years as the company's controller. In that position, he was the company's chief accounting officer with overall responsibility for Accounting, Financial Reporting, Customer Financial Services, Corporate Real Estate and Corporate Administrative Services.
Before joining Clorox, Heinrich was senior vice president treasurer of Transamerica Finance Corporation in San Francisco. In addition to a background in treasury, he is a certified public accountant with more than 26 years of experience in financial management, including eight years at Ernst and Young and 10 years in the Ford Financial Services group.
A native of Gridley, Calif., Heinrich holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley and a master's degree in business administration from Saint Mary's College, Moraga, Calif. |
