Dana A. Wilson, CPA, MBA, FMLI is a Partner in the Assurance and Advisory Services Department at Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP. He earned a Master's Degree in business administration (Beta Gamma Sigma) from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's Degree in business administration in accounting from Western Connecticut State University. Mr. Wilson joined our firm in 2000 after serving the first nine years of his career with Ernst & Young LLP. He has directed engagements on publicly-held (SEC), closely-held and private sector entities primarily in the manufacturing, distribution, high-tech, insurance, construction, and service industries. In addition, he has directed consulting engagements including internal control assessments and implementation resulting from the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, strategic planning, profit enhancement, and business process re-engineering. Mr. Wilson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, International Who's Who of Business Professionals, and is also a Fellow of the Life Office Management Institute (FLMI). He is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Middletown Little League and is active as a coach and volunteer in various youth sports activities. Mr. Wilson is a former member of the CSCPA's Accounting and Reporting Standards Committee. |
