Dana heads Johnson Capital’s Equity/Investment Banking Group. He advises clients on a broad range of real estate capital transactions including equity joint ventures, entity and business plan financings, REIT privatizations and mezzanine debt. Prior to joining Johnson Capital, Dana was senior vice president at the Pivotal Group where he performed acquisitions and procured debt and equity. Previously, Dana was senior vice president at Solus Property Company, an opportunity investor, where he oversaw venture capital investments, supervised the development of one million square feet of retail and office properties and had the responsibility of Solus’ financing activity. He is a member of several national and regional real estate organizations and speaks regularly at industry functions and business schools on the topic of raising real estate capital. Prior to working in the real estate industry, Dana practiced law for eight years. Dana received a B.A. from Lawrence University in economics and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. |
