Dana A. Mehnert is president of Harris Corporation’s RF Communications Division. Mr. Mehnert joined RF Communications in 1984 as an electrical engineer in the division’s rotational management training program. He held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing, and in 1995 was promoted to vice president International Sales. He was named vice president of Worldwide Marketing in 1996. In 1999, he was named vice president/ managing director International Government Sales Operations for Harris Corporation’s Regional Sales organization based in Melbourne, Florida. Mr. Mehnert returned to RF as vice president International Sales and Operations in 2002, and was named vice president Defense Operations in 2003 and vice president and general manager in 2004. Mr. Mehnert graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He received a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Rochester in 1991. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School General Manager Program. He is a member of the Air Force Association, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the Navy League of the U.S., the National Defense Industrial Association, the Association of the United States Army, and the Aerospace Industries Association.
