Dan is a Senior Recruiter who came here with an extensive background in sales and in Telecom. He is the twin brother of Owen York, another senior recruiter here at ESI. He specializes in mobile media/content as well as certain areas of wireless public safety and works searches from CEO and VP levels down to sales staff, developers and engineers for his respective technologies. I think that a lot of people really miss the mark when they are working with a new client, they either assume they know what their client wants or just flat out don’t deliver what was asked for. I don’t, I listen and understand and really get to know them. Then, I provide what is asked for and as fast as my clients need it! I’m not a big fan of cold business relationships. The best way to get over that is to really produce what your client wants. That warms them up pretty well. Dan York resides in Chicago and also plays music professionally, and is the father of two little girls.
