Dan Ross, DarwinSuzsoft’s President and CEO, is responsible for the company’s worldwide strategic and operational functions, as well as for guiding its growth as a leading international IT and engineering services firm.
Dan has a track record of successfully building high-growth technology solution companies focused on delivering superior value to their customers. Dan led Optiant as CEO to market leadership in the supply chain optimization solutions space, tripling revenues the first two years and outperforming competition five to one. Previously, Dan was CEO of Manna, a personalization software company, where he led an international team to market prominence with key clients in the financial services and retail verticals.
While VP of worldwide sales at Open Market, an ECommerce solutions firm, Dan participated in the most successful IPO of 1996, raising 76 million dollars. He also led a team that drove the company to number one in the market, capturing 37% market share across 30 countries. Under Dan’s guidance as VP and GM, PictureTel, a videoconferencing technology company, experienced a tenfold increase in market value, driven by a doubling of revenue and profits.
Dan also held numerous senior management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, including Director of the US PC business, a 630 million dollar enterprise that he initiated, and Director of the desktop business, driving the doubling of that business to 1.5 billion in revenue.
Dan actively contributes to the boards of two high tech software companies and participates in two angel investment groups. |
