Dan Pistone, is Vice President and Technology Team Leader of the Bank. Dan brings a decade of experience in corporate finance, including eight years providing innovative financial solutions and products to emerging technology companies. Prior to joining Bridge Bank in June 2003, Mr. Pistone was a Managing Director of Inspiration Capital Ventures, LLC, a private equity and capital advisory firm. Mr. Pistone managed the firm's consulting practice where he advised clients on merger and acquisition transactions, debt restructuring and private placements. Additionally, Mr. Pistone co-managed the venture capital operations of the fund.
Prior to that, in 1995, Mr. Pistone co-founded the Venture Banking Group, the technology lending division of Greater Bay Bancorp. Mr. Pistone was instrumental in building a team of experienced professionals to grow the company to over $600 million in assets. Mr. Pistone has financed more than 70 companies in the information technology and life science industries. Mr. Pistone's efforts have produced over $100 million in technology loans and $500 million in deposits. Mr. Pistone's warrant positions have resulted in warrant gains to date of $38 million.
Over the past decade, Mr. Pistone has been involved in every phase of the technology lending business; including, origination and deal structuring, credit administration and operations.
Mr. Pistone holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Saint Mary's College. |
