Dan Murphy serves as Executive Vice President of Retail Aftermarket Distribution for XM Satellite Radio, where he is responsible for managing XM relationships with all major retail outlets. Mr. Murphy joined XM in 1998, and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Retail Marketing and Distribution. Prior to XM, Mr. Murphy was with Sony Corporation for more than 15 years and held key management positions in product planning, marketing, and sales, most recently as sales Vice President for the consumer electronics division. Mr. Murphy has successfully launched many new consumer products, including the first car discman, personal stereos, and other audio based products during his tenure at Sony Corporation. |
