Dan King Biography :

Dan King's 25 years of business experience includes senior level corporate roles in consumer service enterprises as well as leading a consulting firm of which he was a co-founder. This diverse background provides Dan with a solid understanding of what is required to improve individual and organizational performance in today's dynamic business environment.

Prior to joining Allconnect, Inc., Dan was Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources with Equifax, overseeing all aspects of talent and performance management for a population of over 10,000.

Dan's consulting work focused on strategy planning and execution. Specifically, Dan equipped senior management teams with the skills and tools to create organizational direction and a methodology to achieve results on an accelerated timeline.

Before establishing his consulting career, Dan was SVP of Human Resources and Administration with Kinder Care Learning Centers, a 20,000 employee firm, where he led innovative employee retention, strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives.

Today, Dan's primary focus is leading the strategy execution efforts and Human Resources function for Allconnect, a firm that has seen revenues increase 215% between 2003 and 2006. Allconnect ranked 28th on Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2006 Pacesetters list of Atlanta's 50 fastest-growing private companies.

Dan's Move story

After graduating college in N.Y., I made an immediate move to Atlanta to join a retail firm. Like most recent graduates, I found a small apartment near work and settled in. After a year, I received notice of a rent increase. Since money meant more to me than furniture, moving to another apartment complex to avoid paying additional rent was an easy decision and an easy move. That "easy move" happened 4 more times over the next 4 years. Moving was a snap; everything I owned still fit in my car! Then my parents paid a visit. They were unimpressed with my barren abode and upon seeing my socks stacked neatly in one corner of the bedroom, my mother went into action. I had a dresser in a matter of hours. The days of easily changing addresses were over for good -- I was a proud owner of "furniture."
