Dan Hirschfeld was named President of Genesis Rehab Services in February 2007 after joining the company in 2005 as Senior Vice President of Genesis Rehab Services. Dan has an extensive background in a variety of healthcare settings, ranging from acquisitions and business development roles to management of an ancillary services business and the creation of an assisted living company.
Prior to joining Genesis, Dan held President and CEO/COO positions with several privately held and publicly held companies with operations throughout the United States. His business experience includes healthcare, technology (ASP, infrastructure, and e-commerce), distance learning, petroleum industry and a diversified holding company. He is a national presenter and panelist for the healthcare industry and for national investment conferences, and has been an industry representative to various state and national government bodies.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in accounting from Duke University, a Master's of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, and a Master of Finance degree from Loyola College. |
