Dan Hale is vice president and chief financial officer of The Allstate Corporation and a member of the Allstate senior management team.
Hale joined Allstate on January 7, 2003. He was previously executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Promus Hotel Corporation until its acquisition by the Hilton Hotels Group in 1999. Prior to joining Promus Hotel Corporation, Hale was executive vice president and chief financial officer of USF& G Corporation from 1993-1998. Hale joined insurer USF& G in 1991 as executive vice president of Diversified Insurance & Investment Operations.
From 1988-1991, Hale was president of Chase Manhattan Leasing Company. Hale began his career at General Electric Company (GE) in 1966 in the corporate finance group and held positions of increasing responsibility in his 20 plus year tenure.
Hale received his Bachelor's in Economics from Yale University in 1966. |
