Dan Gibb graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. In 1970 he began his employment with the Seagram Company in Amherstburg, Ontario and held positions in Distillery and Bottling Operations. He was transferred to Montreal in 1979 as a Department Head in Research and Development. In 1984, Gibb was responsible for the construction, start-up and management of a domestic winery in the Niagara Falls area in Ontario. In 1989 he served at Waterloo, Ontario as the Bottling Manager and then was transferred in 1992 to Amherstburg, Ontario as Plant Manager. In 1998 Dan was transferred to Lawrenceburg, Ind., as Midwest Area Manager.
Gibb was promoted to Vice President of Operations, effective February 1, 2003. Since October 2005, he expanded his role managing the Wild Turkey and Seagram Lawrenceburg distilleries to include the following Allied Domecq facilities: Fort Smith, Ark.; Mumm Napa Valley, Calif., and Walkerville, Canada. |
