Prior to joining Microgy, Mr. Eastman was actively involved as a venture capitalist in funding small technology companies as a principal of the Milwaukee based Iron Block Partners, LLC investment fund. He has served both as a commissioner on the Wisconsin Public Service Commission and as the Securities Commissioner for the State of Wisconsin. He also served as Executive Assistant to the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce where he administered the Wisconsin Economic Development Fund. Prior to his public service, Mr. Eastman practiced law in Milwaukee where he specialized in securities regulation and corporate mergers and acquisitions. He holds a BBA and an MA degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and a law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in New Hampshire.
