Mr. Cornew has experience in strategy and finance in the energy, technology, manufacturing, and consumer products industries. Among his recent engagements, he implemented a $500 million resource allocation strategy for a major energy producer. In the implementation, he assisted senior executives in developing their organization's ability to continue the strategic resource allocation process in the future. In another engagement, he implemented an Enterprise Risk Management system for a major technology client. Prior to joining SDG, Mr. Cornew was general manager of Mexico's leading aluminum extrusion operation, which he grew into the market leader during a period of financial crisis. Mr. Cornew later negotiated the sale of the company to a major multinational. In addition, he co-developed the concept for the online social networking site ClueInn.com, where he coordinated the company s fundraising and led strategy development, feature definition, and pricing decisions. Mr. Cornew has an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and master's and bachelor's degrees in industrial engineering from Stanford University. He speaks fluent Spanish and is proficient in French. |
