I would like to thank you for your interest in the CBT Nuggets training videos. I believe that the quality of a training video starts with the quality of instruction delivered. I also believe that the quality of instruction begins with the diligence, hard work and preparation of the instructor. I can tell you with the utmost confidence that I prepared myself thoroughly before beginning the instruction for these training videos. I began work with Windows NT in 1994. I have worked as a Systems Administrator and MIS director for 6 years before starting my own consulting and training business. Since 1998, I have been teaching Microsoft official MCSE courses in the Microsoft training centers and supplementing my classroom experience with numerous consulting jobs. Please visit my consulting web at http://www.charbo.net if you'd like to review my resume and student comments from the classroom instruction I have delivered. I began work with Windows 2000 in January of 1999 when Windows 2000 was still called Windows NT 5.0. I attended a Microsoft Certified Trainer workshop designed to introduce Windows NT 5.0 and certify trainers to be able to deliver a beta course on NT 5.0. I worked with the product through each of it's beta stages, delivered Windows 2000 beta courses, and then delivered the production version of the Windows 2000 courses. I took February and March of 2000 off and dedicated my time to learning every detail and every concept that makes Windows 2000. I read every white paper, every technical walkthrough, studied every Windows 2000 course in the Microsoft Official Curriculum, practiced every lab on my 5 computer test network, and installed and configured until I was comfortable with every nook and cranny of Windows 2000. When the production version of Windows 2000 was released, I became one of the first 2,000 people to be certified as a Windows 2000 MCSE. In April of 2000, I accepted a 5 month Windows 2000 consulting contract with the City of Minneapolis. I made a decision at that time not to start the Windows 2000 CBT Nuggets training videos until I could gain a reasonable amount of real-world experience with the product to complement the technical expertise I had gained to date. In September of 2000, I took another month off to re-read every course in the Windows 2000 Microsoft curriculum so that my knowledge would be fresh and accurate when I started the videos. On October 1st, I started to tape the Windows 2000 MCSE videos; the last video in the series was completed on December 31st, 2000. The response to this video series has been incredible; every day I receive e-mails thanking me and telling me the passing scores that are resulting from the videos. Thank you for your continuing support. |
