Dan Bruns directed Delphi Internet Services as it became the first commercial online service to provide access to the Internet in 1992. As Chairman and CEO, Dan oversaw the sale of the company to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation in 1993. Bruns worked directly with Mr. Murdoch and members of his News Technology Group on realizing the potential of the Internet and World Wide Web. He left Delphi in 1995 to co-found the knowledge Factory, creating the Company Link business information service in conjunction with the Pulitzer Publishing Company. Bruns and his associates reacquired Delphi from News Corporation in 1996 and built the company into today's Prospero. Dan has twice testified on telecommunications policy issues before the U.S. Congress. He is a graduate of Williams College and the Harvard Business School. |
