Dan Bowen is a founding member and co-owner of Verdict Systems. As COO, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations...actually, this means Dan does all the grunt work that Mike and Carp can't stand doing. Dan brings to this position over 15 years of business experience, more than 12 of which has been spent at different levels of management. A diverse background including retail and wholesale sales and management experience both in and out of the technology industry makes Dan uniquely qualified for this job. In addition, Dan served as an Intelligence Specialist for the California Air National Guard from 1989 through 2002. Dan Bowen has been a faculty member, speaker and trainer for countless litigation organizations and seminars including engagements with the National College of District Attorney’s, the National Court Reporters Association, Certified Legal Video Specialists, the American Bar Association, the United Nations as well as the National Advocacy Center which serves as the national training center for all US Attorneys. Dan regularly speaks throughout the country at continuing legal education seminars on electronic presentation technology. Dan is an engaging and passionate speaker who has an uncommon ability to bring the various aspects of courtroom technology vividly to life regardless of the audience’s technical background. His combination of civilian work experience and military intelligence training has given him a unique expertise in the development and delivery of electronic technology presentations. It is Dan’s ability to identify consumer needs and then develop and implement a plan to address those needs that have made him such a welcome member of the electronic litigation community. |
