After graduating with a computer science degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003, Dan began his career in Los Alamos working for Applied Computing Systems. He spent a year and a half developing customer server components and researching software solutions for a classified project for the army. In 2005 he joined United Devices, where he served as a member of the professional services department focused on providing the technical support required to assist customers in integrating large scale grid solutions into their current business environments. He was responsible for managing a remote team of developers and quality assurance engineers based in Pune, India to assist with these implementations. While at United Devices, he spent a year working in London and Tokyo where he provided the on ground support required to successfully launch grid services through resellers. |
