Dan Aweida joined Aweida Capital Management as a managing partner in 1991 and currently focuses on software and infrastructure related businesses. Aweida holds board positions at several of Aweida's portfolio companies including Benchmark Storage Innovations, TurnLeaf Solutions, and OneRealm, Inc. He works individually with these companies to help them grow strategically into profitable investments. Aweida's goal is to support portfolio companies without interfering with their day-to-day operations. Aweida earned his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Northern Colorado and his M.B.A. in finance from Regis University in Denver, Colo. In 2000, he was a member of the Regis Forum Technology Task Force, a group created to guide the technology curriculum at Regis. The Technology Task Force studied the feasibility of applying the technology that is readily available in the business world to an academic setting. |
