Dan David García serves as an associate consultant for Noel-Levitz. He has served as an enrollment consultant to a number of institutions, including the University of Arizona, McNeese State University (LA), Southern University and A&M College-Baton Rouge (LA), and Pacific Northwest College of Art (OR).
Mr. García currently serves as vice president for enrollment management at West Texas A&M University. He is responsible for providing executive leadership, definition, and organization to the division of enrollment management, and oversees instrumental campus departments including the offices of Admissions, Registrar, and Financial Aid.
Prior to joining West Texas A&M University, Mr. Garcia served as associate vice chancellor for enrollment services at the University of Washington Tacoma where he directed the university’s enrollment management initiatives and assisted with publications, marketing, and campus relations. During his tenure enrollment increased from 1,600 in 2000 to 2,300 today, with enrollment targets consistently met or exceeded.
Associations and Education:
Mr. García is an active participant in organizations such as the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), in which he has served as the chair of the Latino/Latina Caucus and as the chair of the Student Access and Equity Committee. He currently serves on the board of directors and as the Association's vice president for access and equity. He is a regular presenter at national and regional conferences on the subjects of marketing, data management, recruitment, and retention, particularly of underrepresented student populations.
Mr. García received his master’s degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake (TX) and is pursuing a doctorate in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program at the University of Washington Seattle. |
