Dan Minor became Idaho Power Senior Vice President of Delivery on July 1, 2004. He is responsible for the company's electric transmission and distribution systems and retail customer care, including metering and billing. Delivery is Idaho Power's largest single business unit with approximately 1,100 employees across the company's 20,000 square-mile service area serving more than 430,000 customers.
Dan Minor most recently served as IDACORP's vice president, Administrative Services and Human Resources. He was elected to this position in November 2003. In this position Minor’s responsibilities included Procurement, Real Property Management, Hazardous Materials, Fleet Services, Administrative Resources and Human Resources.
Prior to that he was vice president of Idaho Power’s Corporate Services Department, a position he received in May 2003.
Minor is a long-time Idaho Power and IDACORP employee who has served in several management positions. In July of 2001, Minor returned to the company after three years as executive vice president and chief operating officer of a technology management services company. From July 2001 to May 2003, he was director of Audit Services for IDACORP, Idaho Power’s corporate parent.
Prior to leaving Idaho Power in 1998, Minor served as senior manager of the Human Resources Department for three years. Before that he held a variety of positions including property accountant, tax accountant, property tax representative, and manager of employment and compensation.
Minor received his BBA in Accounting from Idaho State University in 1981. Prior to joining Idaho Power in 1983, Minor was a staff accountant with Alexander Grant & Company. |
