He is a recognized leader in the Web-Content, Enterprise Software, and Specialty Retail sectors, and has a track record of creating, funding, and managing fast growing venture capital-backed companies. Damon has CEO experience leading troubled companies through turnarounds and into growth or successful liquidation events for investors. He has raised over $60 million in venture capital for his various startups.Damon has been the CEO and/or President of Iwerks Entertainment, Silicon Entertainment, dotcomix, OneMusic, and Moani, and served as a corporate VP of business development for Sony. He enjoys public speaking and has been an effective spokesman and liaison to the media for the companies he has led, with coverage including WSJ, NY Times, Red Herring, USA Today, Wired Magazine, and Fast Company, as well as on national and regional business television and radio interviews.
