Damien brings national and international business expertise to Cartoon Cuts. He has both corporate and franchise retail-restaurant experience. In 2007, he filled an interim role as GM/COO at Smart for Life; a US and Canadian franchised retail-hybrid, physician-supervised, medical weight loss chain. For the prior five years, he was GM/VP of The Jacmar Companies’ subsidiary, Pacific Ventures Inc. (PVI), based on Guam-Asia. PVI was a multi-unit, multi-brand, restaurant franchise company which had brought such US brands as Taco Bell, Shakey’s, Sizzler, and Lone Star to the region over three decades. Damien introduced the Long John Silver’s brand to Guam and the region’s first co-branded Taco Bell-Long John Silver’s restaurant outside North America. The previous nine years were spent with the Taco Bell Corporation, where Damien was a multi-unit manager, with both Taco Bell and the Taco Bell-Pizza Hut co-branded new concept experience. |
