Mr. Dale McHenry is an accomplished software entrepreneur and technology executive with 20+ years experience in application development, systems integration and large-scale information technology program management. He is presently a senior manager at SI International with responsibility for delivery of Federal programs involving Systems Integration, Software Engineering and other advanced technology IT services with a focus on IT consulting, enterprise solutions, information security and mobile applications.
Mr. McHenry’s outstanding technology portfolio began in 1972 at the University of Maryland’s Administrative Computer Center as a Software Systems Engineer. His advanced studies in applications software led toward executive management positions including his assignment as the Director of Systems Engineering for a global $300M Air Force Command, Communications and Intelligence Program. A pioneer in digital communications, Dale served the U.S. Government as the Oversight Director for the largest digital private network in the world, the FTS 2000 project. Mr. McHenry’s leadership acumen within Government and industry led to his appointment as Press Spokesperson for the FTS 2000 Oversight Project.
Over the past ten years, Mr. McHenry advanced his career in executive management positions and created a significant impact for leading systems integration firms. As General Manager of CENTEL Federal Services Corporation (acquired by TRACOR) he managed a $35M business portfolio with over 350 professionals. In a succeeding role as Chief Operating Officer at Cincinnati Bell Information Systems (CBIS), Dale was the key negotiator in the DynCorp acquisition, which united a $65M telecommunications integration company and over 850 employees.
Mr. McHenry is also a guest lecturer at the University of Baltimore’s Merrick School of Business and an active Executive Member of the Baltimore Technology Council and the Information Systems Research Center at the University of Baltimore. |
