Dale Leatherwood brings substantial experience in both interactive marketing and higher education management to his role as Managing Director of Managed Services. His has 15+ years of successful marketing experience as well as sales and P&L management background. He has helped businesses both large and small evolve their strategies to utilize, enhance or integrate the Internet into their marketing mix or as a primary marketing and operational methodology. Dale was most recently the Sr. Vice President with Education Corporation of America, where he was responsible for the P&L of the Virginia College Online division. His growth plan was ultimately responsible for more than tripling of the student population in less than 1 year. His role eventually included Business Development for the company. Prior to ECA/Virginia College, Dale was VP Marketing-Online for Alta Colleges and their Westwood College/Westwood Online divisions. In that role he led the Internet marketing for the organization as a whole as well as the overall marketing for Westwood Online, a role that allowed both divisions to dramatically increase the Internet marketing lead flow and presence to a top-tier level nationwide. In addition to his roles in the for-profit education sector, Dale served as the Director of Marketing for Global Knowledge, a worldwide leader in IT training and certification. His responsibilities included marketing the initial online learning division, direct mail marketing and ultimately management of integrated marketing to include the complete Internet strategy, trade shows and direct marketing. Dale has also had marketing executive roles in the Industrial distribution as well as sports marketing fields. As the leader of CUnet’s Managed Services efforts, Dale is tasked with creating and executing marketing solutions for our education clients, including vendor lead management, call center management, PPC, admissions consulting and more. His focus is on implementing a results-based philosophy into a full-service environment so that our success is predicated on our customer’s success. |
