Mr. Cheek has been in the construction industry since graduation from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1971. After several years in the commercial painting coating and maintenance business he took the position of Vice President for McDevitt and Street Company in Orlando and Nashville. Currently Mr. Cheek is acting President of HDC and Associates and has been in that capacity since it was incorporated in 1992.
HDC presently holds $5.3 billion in active projects in progress worldwide. Current clients projects and brands include: Portman Architects Marriott Hotels and Resorts Hyatt Corporation Gaylord Hotels Opryland Ritz Carleton Universal Studios Hard Rock Hotels Loews Westin Four Seasons Wydham. HDC & Associates specializes in providing services for project predevelopment through final construction for select clients. Mr. Dale Cheek President has earned a reputation for delivering projects on time and under budget without ever compromising the quality demanded by the owner and designers.
