Dale E. Greene is executive vice president and Chief Credit Officer of Comerica Incorporated. He also is a member of the corporation's Management Policy Committee and Management Council, as well as the Comerica Bank Board of Directors.
Mr. Greene is responsible for Comerica's loan policies and procedures as well as the quality of its lending portfolio.
Mr .Greene joined Comerica in 1978 as a commercial loan officer. He has held management positions for Comerica in the areas of commercial finance, corporate banking, middle market banking and asset-based lending. He was promoted to senior vice president in charge of credit administration in 1988, and executive vice president and chief credit officer for Comerica Bank (Michigan) in 1996. He assumed the position of executive vice president in charge of the corporate banking division in April 1999. He was named to his current position in December 2002.
Mr. Greene holds a bachelor's degree from Oakland University and an MBA from Wayne State University.
Mr. Greene is a U.S. Army veteran. His military service included a year of duty in Vietnam and a promotion to Staff Sergeant before he was honorably discharged in 1970 to attend graduate school. Mr. Greene received three medals of commendation for his service in Vietnam.
Among his professional affiliations, Mr. Greene is a member of the Oakland University Alumni Association and is a board member of its Foundation Committee. Mr. Greene also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Crittenton Hospital.
