Dal is of counsel in the intellectual property section of the business law department. He focuses his practice on patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and litigation. He has been engaged in all aspects of intellectual property law. Dal is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Representative Matters
Represented golf club manufacturer in several lawsuits brought by major golf club manufacturers, and retained by a major manufacturer as a patent expert and as a consultant assisting in other litigation.
Represented trademark owner in infringement suit against consortium of international photographic film manufacturers.
Retained by other patent attorneys to serve as a consultant and patent expert witness in fifty-two trials in fifteen states ranging from California and Oregon, to Pennsylvania and Florida, and throughout the Midwest and the Southeast.
Served as Special Master, as trial judge presiding over patent infringement litigation; written opinion affirmed by the Court of Appeals.
