Cyrus Mistry joins Xynyx with over 12 years of IT experience including eight years of software experience and four years of IT management experience. Cyrus has worked, nationally and internationally, with over fifty Global 2000 clients in seven industries including high technology, communications, pharmaceutical/health care, consumer packaged goods, office products, retail, and automotive. As Chief Strategy Officer, Cyrus is ultimately responsible for Xynyx’ top line growth and expanding its footprint to the Fortune 500 Enterprises through creation of an enterprise go-to-market strategy, creation of a corresponding product strategy, competitive differentiation, and implementation of leading edge software development methodologies. In 1990, Cyrus founded a PC Consulting business, and later went on to master 8 programming languages, 5 operating systems, 4 database systems, a large variety of enterprise software applications in the ERP and CRM spaces, and dozens of Internet and web technologies. Cyrus’ most recent appointment was at Trilogy, Inc., the largest privately-held Enterprise Software company in the United States, where he was promoted three times from Technical Sales Engineer to Program Manager to Project Manager to Senior Sales Architect. He was responsible for generating over $14M in licensing revenue and $20M in professional services revenue. He is qualified in the TAS and SPIN selling methodologies. His responsibilities included competitive analyses, deal pricing, contract definition, client training, and follow-on sales. As Project Manager, Cyrus was responsible for successfully completing an international $2M web deployment project with Volvo/Jaguar while owning all fiscal responsibilities including Trilogy costs, client budgets, expense reporting, T&M approval process for team members, and quarterly revenue forecasts. As Program Manager, he managed a team of fifteen software developers, software testers, and quality assurance developers to release a successful multi-million dollar software solution which was later sold to four Fortune 500 customers. Cyrus graduated Cum Laude with Honors from Johns Hopkins University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering along with a minor in Applied Mathematics. Additionally, Cyrus completed dual Master of Science degrees in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering. During his academic career, Cyrus published a paper on 'The Two-Dimensional Assembly of Images and Three-Dimensional Reconstruction of Prostate Structure to Examine Disease Progression for research sponsored by the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins School of Engineering, Applied Physics Laboratory, National Cancer Institute, and the National Institute of Health. Cyrus currently holds National Society Memberships with the National Biomedical Engineering Society, the National Biomedical Engineering Honor Society, the National Thespian Society, and the National Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi. |
