Cyrus Lam joined KPMG India in 1994 as an accountant and later transitioned to KPMG's Indian Corporate Finance Practice. Cyrus has joined KPMG Corporate Finance in the U.S. from the UK practice in December, 2006. Cyrus focuses primarily on the technology sector, with an emphasis on software, services, and outsourcing clients. He also has significant cross-border experience having worked in India, the UK and the U.S.
Cyrus has advised on many transactions, including the following sellside transactions: the sale of Telenor Business Solutions to 2e2, Anker BV to Gores Technology, Princeton Consulting to Mphasis BFL India, Integrity Treasury Solutions to SunGard, Equanet to PC World Business, Inmac Microwarehouse to WStore, Insurance Technology to Sword Group SA France and the MBO of BigHand, a digital dictation software business.
Cyrus holds a Masters and Bachelor of Commerce degrees in Business and Accounting from the University of Bombay, Bombay, India. He is a Chartered Accountant and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, India. |
